ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Tue Sep 18, 2007, 3:34 AM
INSPIRATION.

I am inspired by the design of traditional Japanese interiors, and the ideal that 'less is more', and believe that visual opposition and contrast achieves aesthetic balance and harmony. Kabbalah is also an inspiration in my art, and exploring mystic concepts, which are essentially abstract concepts, are ideally expressed using abstract visual terms.
This mystic side is balanced by my love of life, and everything that is positive and enjoyable in life...

ART PRINTS.
The paintings displayed here are available as fine-art prints, canvas prints, postcards, ceramic mugs, and more. They are published worldwide.

Colin,
:iconrudeboyskunkplz::iconrudeboyskunkplz2::iconrudeboyskunkplz3: on A Shrine in Nikko Forest. I believe the abundant green moss and constantly flowing streams of water flowing virtually everywhere helped to make the area seem quite magical. [link]

Colin,
:iconrudeboyskunkplz::iconrudeboyskunkplz2::iconrudeboyskunkplz3: on Venice Peacock Horizon. The sky gods displayed their tail feathers.

Currently, I'm making a video which questions key elements of many faiths. When it comes out, I hope to hear comments from you on any that affect you.
